  • Counseling may be more specific to supporting someone who is struggling with generalized anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, relationship issues, and processing trauma.

A licensed mental health professional would be able to address these concerns. Additionally, they would have various levels of training, education, and experience working with different populations.

Sport psychology services support the intersection of athlete mental health and sport performance. They are provided by a licensed mental health professional who has specific training and education related to sport, the athlete identity, sport culture, and unique pressures within the context of sport. Sport psychology services can support an athlete or high performing individual to enhance their overall mindset, mental preparation, develop resilience and flexibility in the context of their performance, and support their overall well-being by treating underlying anxiety, mood-concerns, OCD, trauma, body image distress, and eating disorders.

Lindsey Landgrebe, owner and founder of The Bridge, is a Licensed Counseling and Sport Psychologist. She values a whole person approach to support athletes and high performers. She supports athletes from both a mental health and mental performance perspective.
